Give long work to a Bot

Delegation lets a Bot give a task to itself or another Bot. The task runs in its own Chat while you can keep talking in the original Chat.

Give a clear task

State the result, needed facts, and limits. Ask the Bot to give the work to a suitable helper. A new helper or use of another Bot can need a request. The task works for the person who started it.

Follow the work

Check the open work in your client. The result comes back to the original Chat. The Bot can add work to an earlier delegation and keep its task context. A short reply in the original Chat can arrive before the delegated work is complete.

Stop or continue

Ask the Bot to stop a delegation you no longer need, or use the stop operation your client provides. A time or token limit may pause the work. Read its state before asking to continue. Stopping does not undo outside actions that already ran.
