Choose and manage Bots
A Bot is a lasting worker with a name, a role, instructions, and memory. Use your client to choose a Bot that you own or may use.
Make a Bot
Section titled “Make a Bot”Give the Bot a name, state its job, and write the instructions it should follow. Choose an available language model. A production Bot without a model cannot answer. If you cannot make a Bot or choose a model, ask your administrator for access.
You can choose a default Bot for clients that use it. A trigger with no named Bot also uses it. A new account has no default Bot.
Work with a Bot
Section titled “Work with a Bot”Send the Bot a task in your Chat. It can give long work to itself or another Bot through delegation. New actions may need your decision. A shared Bot uses the access and App connections of the person it works for.
Change or archive a Bot
Section titled “Change or archive a Bot”Change its name, role, instructions, or model when you have the right. Archiving also archives the Bots it owns. Restoring it restores only that Bot. If it was your default Bot, choose another before using triggers that need a default. Sharing and linked Bots have further rules in Share Bots.
